The Missouri Department of Agriculture has retained the services of Pearson VUE, a leader in Computer Based Testing (CBT), to administer our pesticide examinations. Candidates may make a reservation in either of two ways:

Candidates should make a reservation at least twenty-four (24) hours before the desired examination date. Walk-in examinations are not available.

Pesticide examination study manuals can be obtained through the University of Missouri Extension Publication Office at https://extension.missouri.edu/publications/mp731 or by calling (573) 882-7216.

There will be questions on each examination pertaining to the Missouri Pesticide Use Act. A printable PDF can be found on our website at: http://agriculture.mo.gov/plants/pdf/pesticideuseact.pdf.

After passing the required examinations, candidates must complete the application process by submitting the required documents and fee (if applicable) to the Missouri Department of Agriculture or by uploading the required documents through the MOPLants online submission process.
